The Service

FastingBestie ("the App") is a mobile application provided by Marshall Matters Ventures Pte. Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") that offers cycle-aware intermittent fasting guidance, including fasting recommendations, nutrition suggestions, and educational content.

Medical Disclaimer

The App provides educational wellness guidance, not medical advice. The information and recommendations in the App are for informational purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

You should consult your healthcare provider before starting any fasting regimen, especially if you:

  • Are pregnant or nursing
  • Have a history of eating disorders
  • Have diabetes or other metabolic conditions
  • Are taking medications that require food intake
  • Have any medical condition that could be affected by changes in eating patterns

The App is not intended for use by individuals who are pregnant, nursing, or who have a history of eating disorders. If you have any concerns about whether intermittent fasting is appropriate for you, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Your Data

Your fasting recommendations are generated on-device. We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. In future, we may offer optional cloud sync for fasting history. HealthKit data never leaves your device. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose: personal wellness guidance. You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App's content for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Redistribute or republish the App's content, articles, or recommendations

Content Ownership

All content in the App, including text, recommendations, articles, designs, and code, is owned by Marshall Matters Ventures Pte. Ltd. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content without our written consent.

Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and helpful information, we make no guarantees about the completeness, accuracy, or suitability of the App's recommendations for your specific situation. Fasting affects everyone differently, and individual results may vary.

Apple Health Data

If you choose to connect Apple Health, you grant the App read-only access to menstrual cycle data. This data is used exclusively to generate cycle-phase recommendations and is never transmitted off your device. You can revoke this access at any time through iOS Settings.

Availability

We aim to keep the App available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue the App at any time without prior notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marshall Matters Ventures Pte. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to any health effects from following the App's recommendations.

You acknowledge that fasting carries inherent risks and that you use the App at your own risk. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us for use of the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the App for any user who violates these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Marshall Matters Ventures Pte. Ltd. regarding the use of the App.
